Of course I am aware that electric blue as a trend has been around for ages. But every so often a trend spikes again, and thus was it so this past week, when three ladies wore the colour within hours of each other. Reese Witherspoon looked most excellent in this iridescent Michael Kors dress to a charity event. And Sandra Bullock wore this Carolina Herrera dress to a red carpet premier. As far as I am concerned neither Bullock nor Herrera can do any wrong. So it is a winner.

Let's not forget that this weekend Jennifer Lawrence also wore the blue Alexander McQueen to her photo call and Candice Swanepoel wore the blue spangly Elie Saab, and to round out the round up, there was Nicole Richie in Miami. Looking absolutely incredible in this electric blue crop top and print trouser look. OMG I LOVE THIS. Thank you Emilio Pucci for making this as part of your resort collection. If I were at Art Basel, I would definitely mix this into my look, alongside all that Louis Vuitton I picked out yesterday. *wishes*
