And while Miley Cyrus is now 21, it's close enough for Marc Jacobs who picked her for her first international fashion campaign, supporting his SS14 collection. I think it is brilliant. What a pairing! The man who invented grunge and the girl who is trying to bring it back. In all its petulant glory. Perfect.

Marc wanted a moody scene and he got one. In spades. He wanted his long-time collaborator Juergen Teller to shoot it, but that he didn't get. JT wasn't into working with Miley. And so David Sims lensed the campaign and the mighty Katie Grand styled it. Amazing. A dark, natural energy — a beautiful nightmare. Very good.
