So here are some lovely ladies in lovely dresses who looked lovely on the 2013 Grammy Awards red carpet last night. And then we all drifted off into a lovely snooze, brought about by the loveliness of it all. I mean, Carrie Underwood looks amazing in Roberto Cavalli black lace, doesn't she? And yet, she doesn't stand out, doesn't dazzle us. Taylor Swift looks exquisite in this J.Mendel white, slashed-to-the-navel dress. And yet, pop that search term into google and you will probably confuse the hell out of it since it pretty much referes to about half a dozen of her previous frocks. Sure it works, but still... And Allison Williams is a cracker in this Kaufmanfranco sheath, bedecked with black diamonds. Sleek, elegant, pretty, fun, and all that gumph. Still not rocking my world, sadly. I think it may be a personality thing. You know, good old fashioned charisma. When it lacks, so does the gown.
