All I wanted to say when I saw Kerry Washington walk the 2013 Oscars red carpet was, "thank you." Doesn't she just look darling? And the gratitude was for the colour. Wearing a soft red Miu Miu gown with a embellished bodice, I was just delighted. Merci.

Also looking ravishing in colour was Sloan Sabbith actress, Olivia Munn, who wore a baroque inspired Armani (or Marchesa — conflicting reports, but looks more Marchesa) gown. I was also grateful for that. There was just so LITTLE colour you see.

And the wonderful Sally Field wore red Valentino which was classic and beautiful, if a bit overly mother-of-the-bride for someone as awesome as she. A look she usually avoids. But you can't fault her elegance and style. Ever. These ladies are the business. Love 'em.
