Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, Rewears Red Alexander McQueen

There was a shindig at Buck Palace last night — the Dramatic Arts Reception. HRH The Queen was the host, and she brought along her daughter in law, Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, to help share the load. Kate decided that her old faithful red Alexander McQueen frock would again do the trick for the occasion. I don't know that it did this time.

It's a gorgeous dress and I totally prefer her version (with sleeve and length to the knee) to the original version. It's just that it seems like a posh day dress rather than an evening dress for a night with the stars. You know?

Anyway, I am liking her hair more these days. Although I still wish she would tie it up ONCE IN A WHILE, for the love of all things hair-holy. And those pantyhose? NO MAN. But aside from those couple of things, all very nice.
