Well, the volume in the skirt aside, this is just so incredibly pretty. I love the lace overlay in the top. And the velvet waistband. It is low cut enough to be feminine and sexy. But it is stately enough to be pitched perfectly to the occasion. She looks magnificent.
The skirt is a little too much for my taste. The column in the middle is beautiful, and I almost wish it had been left there. But I do understand the need for pomp and ceremony with visiting heads of state and the back and side volume on the skirt do add that element. What do you think?
