Terry Pheto Covers Marie Claire SA in Louis Vuitton

It has been a bit of a local is lekker week here on the blog. And we complete it with the latest Marie Claire cover for the SA June issue, which features the gorgeous actress Terry Pheto on the cover. And while I just want to give her a slick of peach lipstick, I do think that she is the ultimate cover girl. Especially when you go behing the scenes and see how this whole thing was put together.

Especially invited as a guest of Louis Vuitton, Terry headed to Paris for the ready to wear runway shows in February. Dressed head to gloriously bedecked foot in LV, Terry looked amazing. Hanging out with my mate, LV's PR Giselle Hon, they took in the sights of Paris, watched the show and shot the cover story for MC SA, all under the guidance of fashion director Sharon Becker.

And it is worth picking up off the bookshelves guys. I plan to spend the weekend reading mine in depth. But just think. Terry is just a normal South African girl, with talent, beauty and stars in her eyes. Now she is on the cover of a fashion magazine in Louis Vuitton. That's quite a journey. Well done lady.
