Whilst waiting for her first niece or nephew to be born, Pippa Middleton isn't sitting around. While Kim Sears did her bit for Kate's maternity cover for a few weeks, Pippa has now stepped up and is carrying the mantle. In the past week she has stepped out in two significantly good fashion offerings. The first being the gorgeous floral dress by Tabitha Webb that she wore to the Queen's Coronation Festival.

Pipps paired the dress with an oversized clutch bag by Lamb 1887 and those really rather excellent shoes by Aruna Seth in dove grey suede. At last! A Middleton in good shoes. It's a miracle. What is also a miracle is the fabulous hair do. The soft, beachy waves are SO MUCH MORE than the silly rounded curls of her sister's predictable hair. I do so hope that this is one of those things that is passed from sister to sister. Like the pantyhose and the nude heels. Just saying.

And then P-Middy popped out to a wedding this weekend. For the occasion she wore a fabulous little Matthew Williamson dress with a bejewelled neckline. She paired the dress with a cropped jacket from the same collection and slipped on those nude heels she loves so much. This time with a heel higher and more stilettoed than her sister. Well, well. Even I, despite my residual feeling that this girl is an opportunistic bint with a robust thread of common running through her, have to admit she looks sensational. In both looks. I may have to reconsider my position. What do you think?
