Then there was the one that had me with my jaw on the desk, such was my surprise. I mean this is classic 80s — dropped waist, power shoulder, pink and white check. It is Balmain Resort but I can't remember seeing it in the collection. It is something like a phenomenon.

I absolutely and unreservedly love it on her. And that's the key. ON HER. It suits her wicked grin and her colouring and her desire to do things her own way. I mean this is a girl with 'minge' tattooed on her foot. She has hidden depths that are quite naughty, and an angelic face that protests innocence. This outfit is all of that, in spades. Amazing.

And then there was a photocall with the cast, including Sharon Stone. We won't comment on the tangerine satin, but we will commend Amanda's choice of Tibi pre-fall frock with that dropped waist and softly pleated skirt. It is very nice.

Look. It is pretty certain that I am going to go and see this movie. Not just because of Amanda's sensational sartorial choices. But also because, look at this cast. Mr Big. Seth Cohen. Agador from the Bird Cage. Sharon Stone, ahem. And the delectable Peter Sarsgaard. Yummy. See you at the movies.
