So it turns out that my old uber boss, Oprah Winfrey, rather likes Escada for her curves these days. With two different frocks in three days, I think this is a safe assumption. Obviously Oprah is out doing her duties promoting her new movie, The Butler. And she looked really stand-out in this vibrant, violet frock, with the slash neck and fitted silhouette on Good Morning America yesterday.

It's so weird to see the mighty O on other people's talk shows after so many years of doing this job herself. It's almost as if they really should just swap places for the day...

As much as I liked the colour of the first Escada, I think the one she wore a few days earlier on another talk show was even more flattering for her figure. The black and grey colour blocking is fantastic, and the fit of this one is really sensational. I think we can give mama O a double style high five for this week's efforts, no? Don't leave the lady hanging...
