Right here we have ourselves a situation. This is the latest campaign for the Aldo Fall 2012 collection. It has been shot by Terry Richardson. The grandfather of tawdry, smutty, distaste in fashion. The champion of narcissistic interpretation and the ultra-basic light set up. You can tell I'm a fan, right?

But what do we have here? No gratuitous nakedness? A (slightly) more interesting lighting set up. An attitude — for the model not himself. In other words a campaign selection that smartly tells the story of the latest shoe collection in a rather attractive way. Well, knock me down with a feather.
For those of you who fancy a bit of Lady Gaga style, this collection is for you. I rather like those boots up top, with the embroidery detail. Super cool.

PS: maybe next time we will even see an Uncle Terry shoot with the model standing up — on her own two feet — without an arched back. That's what I'm holding out for, Bonnie Tyler-style.
