It was the opening of the new season at the Metropolitan Opera House in New York City earlier this week. For the occasion a raft of beautiful people put on fancy dresses and turned up to be photographed at the affair. Diane Kruger was one of these people.

And doesn't she look sensational? She wore a striking colour blocked Prabal Gurung dress, in black, white and red. The hem length works perfectly with this dress.

Prabal himself was there to escort Diane and speak of his realisation of the great American dream. And he looked very dapper. The perfect opera companion. Lovely.
