Quietly and unobtrusively, Canadian/Brit designer Erdem has crept in to the fashion establishment when it comes to dressing celebrities this summer. With women as diverse as Anne Hathaway, Samantha Cameron, Florence Welch and Kate Middleton all wearing his pretty floral frocks this season, it is surprising that he has not swept the boards of the fashion awards nominations. And no celeb has embraced his work quite as enthusiastically as Miranda Kerr. She stepped out in Sydney on Tuesday in one of his dresses.

At the Anna Karenina film premier, actress Rose Leslie — from Downton Abbey and Game of Thrones — also wore Erdem. Sadly, in this lone instance the dress did not look so good. Rose is altogether way to skinny to fill it out, and the dress just hung on her. Even though she is a really pretty girl she did not do the amazing dress justice. So if you have a curve or two to muster, try and track down an Erdem dress. This is the one you want for the sunny months ahead.
