Kate Bosworth for The Edit
Congratulations to Kate Bosworth, who married her man, Michael Polish, this weekend in a small friends-and-family ceremony on a ranch somewhere in Montana, USA. Since we don't have any wedding pictures, let's just enjoy some brand new and very beautiful pictures of Kate as she covers the latest edition of Net-a-Porter magazine, The Edit.
We now know that Oscar de la Renta designed the wedding dress that she explains in The Edit, was outside her comfort zone as she didn't want to wear something she could wear on the red carpet. Apparently it had an eight-foot-long and 16-foot-wide train. WHAT? I can't even comprehend that without straying into Big Fat Greek Wedding territory.
But Kate has impeccable style, so we can assume that it was all done with dignity and good taste. As is this shoot for The Edit. In it Kate wears Lanvin (on the cover), as well as another pink selection from Roksanda Ilincic.
The coat is by Dolce and Gabbana, and the black dress with the Oscar de la Renta dotty shoes is Miu Miu. The other black dress is by Gucci.
I will admit that I am not a massive Kate Bosworth fan, but I do think that she carries this collection with perfect poise and style. And I actually can't wait to see what that wedding dress really looked like. Can you?
