Ewa Sonnet Love
The incredible irony of the 'topless photo' scandal breaking on the day that Kate was pictured in Kuala Lumpur looking so incredibly similar to her paparazzi-hounded mother-in-law wasn't lost on anyone. Dressed beautifully in a pale blue silk Beulah dress, with covered buttons and leg-o-mutton sleeves — with a head scarf — Kate kept her composure despite the fact that millions around the world were gazing at her naked torso.
Later Kate changed into a stunning Temperley London dress — blue with a lace overlay, a theme also seen on the London Fashion Week runway show of the designer Alice Temperley.
Pinning her hair back in an array of pearls, she looked as if she was carefree. Not so her dear husband, Prince William, who was particularly angry by the whole invasion of their privacy and the memories it may have brought back of his mother's life.
By Saturday the pair were deep into the jungles of Borneo probably hoping they could stay there forever. They had a great time and some of the pressure seemed to have eased as they laughed and joked with their hosts and heard all about the conservation activities.
Kate dressed down in a dark grey silk blouse and khakis. This was her first casual look of the tour and was perfectly appropriate for the occasion.
I just want to say that in this instance I will not publish the images of Kate, although I have seen them. And the reason is simple. There is not a jot of fashion in them. Obviously ;) That, and they were quite obviously taken illegally from nearly a mile away. I hope Kate has learned her lesson. No matter what, no matter how private you assume yourself to be, just always take your direction from the Queen. And never, ever, get your boobs out again. Now let's all move on.
