Working her androgynous vibes to the max, my mate Alexa Chung covers the October 2013 issue of Nylon Magazine. The story features the mod style that Alexa favours and several of her own pieces and the pigtails she rather likes. I know all of this because I have read her book 'It' which I loved.

Alexa celebrated the cover on Tuesday night at a party thrown in her honour. She wore a cute red and black check dress to the affair, and some shoes that I have not seen her wear before but are absolutely marvellous. All very nicely done, I think. Oh, and if you can't get her book, get this copy of Nylon.
