Six years ago, following her tricky breakup with a businessman, my mate Cat Deeley bought a home in LA. It was a seventies home and the amount of work that needed doing on it was crushing. To the point of tears. Instead of letting it overwhelm her, Cat started managing the renovations and did them bit by bit. Slowly getting to where she is today — and learning to love it in the process.
