These days we all look to see how Miley Cyrus behaves on a red carpet. How is she going to shock us this time? And then she turns up looking like this. In a perfectly nice Versus white tuxedo suit. With gold safety pin detail so that you are in no doubt that it is Versus. And then some ordinary black courts and almost no make-up. I don't know what to do with this. It is ordinary. And a bit plain. Urgh.

But then again, maybe it is all a bit better (read: more tasteful) than this Markus Lupfer crop top and high-cut knickers. Or 'leotard' as we are officially calling it. In the spirit of an 80s Jane Fonda exercise video. But look. It has cat faces on it. The same cat that was lip synching on the big screen during the performance. Just a million levels of funny and clever right there. One tweet read, "Miley Cyrus just won the internet." And she probably did with this lot. I just don't think it looks that great on her.

But it is clever. And fashionable. And funny. But not shocking. So that's an improvement. I so prefer funny and clever to shocking. More please.
