The most significant trend on last night's 2013 American Music Awards red carpet was the cut out white dress. It was worn must successfully by the brilliant Nicole Richie — who wore the Emilio Pucci floor sweeper with complete confidence. Amazing.

Then there was Christiana Aguilera who wore her white dress with side cut outs and a plunging neckline by Maria Lucia Hohan with slightly less confidence, but still managed to look very lovely.

And finally, rounding out the trend was Kendall Jenner (or is it Kylie? What ARE these children doing out on a school night?) who wore a label called Keepsake and looked decidedly uncomfortable in her cut outs. Shame. Sitting SO LOW on her chest. Never mind. She's young. She will grow into it.
