For the third year in a row, Taylor Swift has worn a gold dress to the 2013 American Music Awards. And this year it is a sassy, glittering little Julien Macdonald spangle number that T-Swizzle wore to pick up her many awards.

The shoes are Jimmy Choo and match the dress perfectly. The make-up was subtle in light of the drama of the dress which was a superb decision. And the earrings and Lorraine Schwartz ring made just enough noise, but not so much we were overwhelmed. This is an excellent styling job.

I also really loved that she wore her hair down and in her signature style. It reminds us that, no matter how dazzling her style, she is still a country music singer who continues to write and perform music that sells gazillions. It really is a mystery to me, but I respect it.

I also respect that Taylor is really acing her style right now. Just look at this burgundy Herve Leger dress she wore late last week to a Weinstein party. It is just perfection. Don't you think?
