As you all know I oscillate on Gwyneth Paltrow. One minute I am enjoying her charming song and dance on Glee, and admiring how incredible she looks in white. The next she is annoying me with her smug whining and being disconnected with how real people live — ones that are not gazillionaires. But she is always very, very ice-blonde pretty. As she is here on the latest cover of Red magazine, for December 2013.

Sadly inside the mag, her super-defensive diatribe about how she creates balance as a mother and an actress, is all a bit overwrought and sweary. Which is not to say that I don't agree with her, I just wish she would have more grace about how she goes about "not giving a shit" what others think of her. And I say this with impunity as she apparently really doesn't care what we think of her. Good.
