My mate Victoria Beckham and her crew of mini people flew over to England for the holidays yesterday. When she Tweeted that she was wearing Comme des Garçons for the trip I nearly tripped over my own jaw that had clunked to the floor. Because it is incredibly opposite to the style she designs and has been wearing for the past four years or so. But I rushed off to the see what the get-up looked like immediately.

70s-inspired and the usual mix of fabrications, the dress looks pretty cool on Vicky when you just see the top half. Then you scroll down and that gigantic plaid skirt seems to go on forever. I think that the skirt is too much for her petite body. I would have hemmed it just below the knee — a good 30 cms shorter. But I like that she is experimenting. It's fun and interesting — especially since she can choose literally any piece of clothing in the entire world. And she hasn't played it safe which is awesome. Go VB!

Oh and can we just take a moment to reflect on baby Harper's cape and sequin shoes? Can we? Seriously. Not sure I can cope with that amount of cute all wrapped up with a bow on it. And no, I'm not even looking at the deliciousness of David. Giddy. Too early. Phew.
PS: and yes, that is a Burberry trench that young Romeo is wearing *chuckle* No words.
