There is something about Gwen Stefani that is arresting to the eye. She is certainly not he prettiest girl in the playpen. Nor is she often the best dressed. But she ALWAYS looks striking. Always has panache in her outfit. Always makes you stop and look. And she is so dedicated to her vibes — never wavering — that she is probably one of those rare people that will cross over into a style icon at some point of her later life.

So it is no surprise that Marie Claire in the UK selected Gwen for their January 2013 cover. Although she dos rather go on about her marriage and babies in the inside story. You know I always want more fashion, less babies...

Gwen wears pretty much only her own fashion label L.A.M.B. in this editorial, and restricts the colour palette to black and white. Which of course makes for extremely striking pictures.

I may not buy the magazine for this story, but I do like the images and I think that they have done a great job on this shoot. Lovely.
