That's Better Anne Hathaway!
You all know I wasn't a fan of that white Givenchy gown that Anne Hathaway wore to the premier of Les Mis in London on Wednesday night. It was that saggy arm situation, in the main. Just no. But it turned out that when she changed for the after party, things got considerably better. Pairing a Altuzarra beaded bustier with a high-waisted skirt, Anne looked lovely — sleek and elegant and not overdone, which can be a problem for her.
Anne stepped it up even further when, on arrival, she had worn this look with a navy satin Burberry Prorsum cape. And you all know how much I love, love, love a cape. This is a good look on Anne. I just wish she was less hit and miss about the whole red carpet thing. Or that her stylist Rachel Zoe would get her head back in the game. Soon!
