Joanne Froggat plays the role of Anna, the ladies maid, in the magnificent British TV series Downton Abbey. However, out of her black and white uniform, Joanne is determinedly bright and colourful in her style. Just look at this delightful turquoise Jonathan Saunders frock — with pockets!

She further demonstrated this on her visit with the rest of the Downton cast to the US to promote series three, where she wore this selection of bright bold little shifts, dazzling heels and looked fabulous.

Even when she attended a basketball game with her castmates she wore a lovely mustard yellow blouse and boots with spangle that were impressive. I adore her in the show, now I am starting to adore her style. What do you guys think?

Can she out-fashion Lady Mary, played by Michelle Dockery? She, along with the rest of the Downton gang attended a Ralph Lauren function, wearing a leather one-shoulder dress for the event. And as good as she looks in it, I still think Joanne looks better in her hot pink Ralph Lauren.

The only one that I think rivaled Jo was valet Thomas, played by Robert James Collier. He wore tartan and velvet to the event. I simply cannot fault that. LOVE.
