New Clothes for Christmas — Banana RepublicI have shamelessly told you before on this blog, a couple of times, how much I love Banana Republic. I may even have told you in person. Because I am like that. Whenever I do a wardrobe clear out, I am always amazed how I can never find a reason to get rid of a piece from BR — no matter how old it is. Like this black silk blouse I am wearing here. It is at least ten years old and not a season has gone by in that time without wearing it. Seriously. I just layer it over a long sleeve black tee in the winter. I am wearing it here with some print trousers I have been searching for FOREVER. I needed the perfect pair. Fitted. The print not wearing me. Pockets. Obviously. And I found them guess where? Yup, Banana Republic. By the way, I am also wearing them with my first ever pair of Jimmy Choo flats that now live in my holiday house because they are SO worn out. But they still work. While I am boasting about my BR purchases, I must also tell you that I picked up this hot pink (my new favourite colour — so on trend for the season) Anna cardigan while I was in store and I expect that it is rapidly going to become my most worn item in my wardrobe. It just goes with everything. The dress — with pockets — is BR as well and in store now. The flops are Country Road. You can't go wrong with a pair of white leather sandals this summer. And that, my readers, was my Dear Robyn, Merry Christmas, Love Robyn gift for this year. What did you get yourself? PS: Photos taken in the garden of The Stanford Hotel by my mate Thaya Bedford. It was a hoot as you can see...
