Songstress Taylor Swift is in New York this past week. Not only does she have a raft of appearances and meetings, but she is also hanging out with her 'new boyfriend' who is apparently a chap called Harry Styles from the UK band One Direction. I am keeping a bit vague about this as I believe the fans of this band are vicious in their devotion to the guys in the band and don't like the interference from other ladies. So to speak.
Whilst in New York this month, Taylor has paired lovely evening dresses like that gold Oscar de la Renta above with cool dressed-down outfits that pair her slightly hipster vibes with her retro aesthetic. Look at how many pairs of flats she has. How she is wearing corduroy like it is super-cool. The cute dotty jumper with collar. The fox motif jumper. All fabulous. I think this is GREAT off duty style.

And then, just as we were getting lost in her cool, she smartens up again in this very elegant striped party frock by Kate Spade. Full red lip and hair curls in place. Totally beautiful. NICE.
